Governo de MS reforça compromisso com segurança pública em encontro de comandantes da PM – Agência de Noticias do Governo de Mato Grosso do Sul
Maio 8, 2024Comandantes da Polícia Militar debatem segurança pública, tecnologias e parcerias estratégicas
Com foco na promoção da integração entre instituições, o CNCG (Conselho Nacional de Comandantes-Gerais) das polícias militares dos estados e do Distrito Federal está reunido em Bonito para debater temas relacionados à segurança pública, tecnologias e parcerias estratégicas. O 1º Encontro de Alinhamento teve início nesta quarta-feira (8) e segue até sexta-feira (10).
Instituído em fevereiro de 1993, o Conselho é um colegiado que tem por objetivo promover a integração entre as forças de segurança, permitindo a troca de experiências, discussão estratégicas, análise de problemas comuns e busca de soluções conjuntas para o enfrentamento da criminalidade e violência.
O vice-governador José Carlos Barbosa, o Barbosinha, que esteve representando o governador Eduardo Riedel no evento, reforçando o compromisso da atual gestão com a segurança pública. Segundo Barbosinha, durante o encontro serão tratados assuntos de interesse nacional relacionados as definição de diretrizes nacionais conjuntas e alinhamento de ações que possam ser adotadas em caráter uniforme pelos entes federativos.
“Somos um dos estados mais seguro do País. Tive a oportunidade de ser secretário de Justiça e Segurança Pública na gestão do ex-governador Reinaldo Azambuja e tenho muito claro que os recursos destinados à segurança têm papel fundamental no desenvolvimento do Estado”, frisa, completando em seguida.
“O Mato Grosso do Sul é terceiro em crescimento econômico do Brasil e isso se deve também ao trabalho de policiamento, responsável por promover um ambiente de ordem aos empresários. Ao longo dos anos, o Governo tem realizado ações de construção e hoje reafirmamos nosso compromisso em fazer de MS um lugar cada vez mais seguro e melhor para se viver”, afirmou Barbosinha.
Conforme o secretário-adjunto da Sejusp (Secretária de Estado de Justiça e Segurança Pública de MS), o coronel da PM Ary Carlos Barbosa, durante os três dias os comandantes gerais e demais autoridades irão debater gestão, políticas de segurança, inovação tecnológica na área de segurança, formação e capacitação policial.
Participaram da solenidade o presidente do Conselho Nacional dos Comandantes Gerais das Polícias Militares, o coronel da PMSP, Cássio Araújo de Freitas; o comandante-geral da PMMS, coronel Renato dos Anjos Garnes; o deputado estadual coronel Davi; membros e representantes do Conselho, entre outras autoridades civis e militares.
Homenagem – Na ocasião, o vice-governador recebeu a Medalha do Mérito CNCG, uma condecoração do Conselho Nacional dos Comandantes Gerais das Polícias Militares, conferida a personalidades civis e militares que tenham se destacado na prestação de serviços a Instituição e à causa da segurança pública brasileira.
