Campo Grande adere a movimento nacional e leva atendimentos odontológicos a alunos de escolas públicas – CGNotícias
Maio 7, 2024Nesta quarta-feira (08), acontece o “Dia D do Mais Saúde Bucal no Programa Saúde na Escola (PSE)” em todo o país. Em Campo Grande, a Secretaria Municipal de Saúde (Sesau), por meio da Coordenadoria da Rede de Atenção Odontológica (CRAO), irá realizar atendimentos a alunos de cinco escolas da rede pública municipal e estadual, fortalecendo a iniciativa promovida pelos Ministérios da Saúde (MS) e Educação (MEC).
Uma das unidades de ensino que receberá a ação será a Escola Municipal Rachid Saldanha Derzi, no Bairro Jardim Noroeste, escolhida para a abertura da ação. Na unidade estudam aproximadamente 1,2 mil alunos.
A coordenadora da Rede de Atenção Odontológica de Campo Grande, Christianne Saliba, explica que o objetivo do Dia D é dar maior visibilidade e intensificar as ações que já são feitas periodicamente dentro da rotina dos serviços, levando palestras e atividades de prevenção e promoção de saúde, além de atendimentos clínicos.
“Os profissionais estarão orientando sobre a importância da higiene bucal e realizando o atendimento odontológico com aplicação de flúor, escovação supervisionada, além da distribuição de kits para a higiene bucal”, explica.
O Programa Saúde na Escola (PSE) é uma iniciativa intersetorial dos Ministérios da Saúde e da Educação que tem como objetivo contribuir para o pleno desenvolvimento dos estudantes da rede pública de ensino da educação básica.
A articulação entre Escola e Atenção Primária à Saúde é a base do Programa Saúde na Escola, sendo essa integração uma estratégia para o desenvolvimento da cidadania e da qualificação das políticas públicas brasileiras.
Em Campo Grande esta ação acontecerá nas seguintes escolas:
Distrito Lagoa – EE Aracy Eudociak – USF Batistão
Distrito Anhanduizinho – EM Rafaela Abrão – USF Aero Rancho IV
Distrito Bandeira – EM Sulivan Silvestre Oliveira – USF Arnaldo Estevão
Distrito Segredo – EM Prof Joao Candido de Souza – USF Vida Nova
Distrito Prosa EM – Rachid Saldanha Derzi – USF Jardim Noroeste
